Below are samples of rubrics used for the peer review process. These match the submission types.

Research Articles:

Title of Article:
	Score (1-5) *5 being the best*	Suggestions
Purpose (The point the author wants to convey is clearly stated)
Background (Thorough development of pertinent information)
Content (Thesis is well supported with evidence; concise; analysis of research included)
Conclusion (Ties together all presented information concisely and makes a final overarching comment on the topic)
Methods (if pertinent) (Processes clearly stated)
Language (Submission is written in a formal and technical language, audience = scientists in the field discussed)
Format (1.5 spacing, 2000-3000 words (not including references)
References (Citations are listed numerically as they are used)
Overall Impression
Approval (if pertinent) (From professor directly involved, eg laboratory advisor)
Acceptance to Publication (Yes (with/without) revisions or No)

Research News:
