2nd Place – A Study in Hemispheres

Congratulations to Caroline Novak for winning 2nd place and a $25 Amazon gift card in our Fall 2018 D.U. Quark Contest!  Below is a description of her artwork:

The piece aims to explore visually the differences between the left and right hemispheres of the human brain.  For example, the left brain would see an entire field of flowers (the bigger picture) while the right brain would see a singular flower (the smaller details).
